When I find a photo I really like, I'm often interested in knowing more about the photographer's background, experiences and photographic vision. Unfortunately many photographers here have not written a biography and when a biography is available sometimes it's not focusing on the things that would be the most interesting to know. An excellent biography should tell why you started photographing, where you get inspiration, explain your photographic vision and your most important achievements like exhibtions and awards. It should be personal, not just talking about photography, but without telling your entire life-story. All in all, it should be interesting reading to get to know you better but don't be too long.

We are very aware that many members are not native English speakers, so we are going to put together a new team for sending a few questions to members and then help out writing the biography.
