I captured this photo on one beautifl morning during sunrise. I liked the scenery. I tried to give depth to the picture so I included in the foreground the big rock and the beautiful autumnal forest as point of interest. In the middle I liked the huge sea of fog and how the mountain tops peaked out of the fog. In the background I included a small portion of the gorgeous morning sky. I didn't want to include too much because apart from the colors there is not much visual interest there.
I used the following settings:
ISO 100, 26mm, f 11, 1/25
Iused Lightroom and Photoshop to edit the image.
I would like to find out your thoughts about the scene and composition. What effect has the photo on you? Does it have any compositional and/or technical flaws?
What is your general opinion?

Hi and welcome to Critique - I quite like your image, I find your composition very good lays amd fold of nature. I don't think it has any flaws to speak of.
That said I will you my take of your image just to give you a few idea's to think about. Back in Photoshop / Camera Raw / I used the Dehaze slider to add depth also Nik Tools Tonal Contast to help the contrast and overall colours to make them pop. last a little dodge and burn to also add depth and try and get that 3D look
thank you for sharing...

Hello Leicher Oliver and welcome to the Critique Forum.
You have captured a beautiful scene at sunrise and like Daniel said, there isn't much I would change about it.
The one thing that strikes me is that the scene looks a little bit flat. So here are a couple of suggestions that are not very different than what Daniel suggested except maybe for the sky.
So I took your photo into Topaz Clarity and used the Color Contrast Boost 1 preset in the Landscape category. It gave more depth and vibrancy to the image. Then I did some haze removal in Photoshop Elements 21. Then, I used a fog filter in Topaz Effects for the top third section of the image (background), partly to soften the colours of the sky and keep that foggy atmosphere. Then, back in Photoshop, I brightened (lightened) mosthly the left part of the sky to make it more even with the rest of the sky. Finally, I decided to remove the rock in the foreground and filled the spot using Content Aware in Fill Section. It is just an idea. You might chose to keep it. I know that if it were me taking the picture, I would have probably included it too but now I look at it and wonder if it is a distraction or not. But that is just an idea, nothing that needs to be done!
Finally because the rock wasn't there anymore, I used a 3x5 crop which took off a very small portion ot the bottom of the frame.
Of course these are just suggestions and the bottom line is that you have to decide what you want your picture to look like.
I hope these suggestions are useful to you.
Wishing you good luck and happy shuttering!

Hello Oliver,
thank you for uploading your photo to this forum. I will present my visions of your picture. I edited using PSCC 2023 and CR.
Interesting place, beautiful conditions, but there are a few elements that, in my opinion, can improve the photo. I changed the frame by cutting off about 1 cm from the upper part of the photo due to the uninteresting and slightly burnt out sky. Also, on the right side, I removed some branches that were distracting. The next thing I did was illuminated - using curves - a stone and a few bushes adjacent to it.
Of course, this is my vision of your photo.
