David,

I see you're new to 1X, so I'll say Welcome!  It's not a perfect website, but many of us are committed to it and hopeful that it will improve with time.

I'm not a fashion, glamour, or fine art nude photographer, so not really qualified to critique this photograph.  I will point out, though, that scantily clad female models and nudes are a very common subject at this site, and the competition for Published photos is tough.

In my opinion, the photo is technically OK for sharpness and colour.  The hand and neck are light and you might consider darkening those areas a little.  I wonder about the theme or story.  The situation seems to have no explanation - the model is lying down on a forest floor.  It looks harsh and uncomfortable.  Why is she there?   I do not speak Spanish, but Google translate gave the title, 'Desmarcada de la naturaleza' as 'Unmarked by Nature'.  Perhaps the idea was to show the contrast between the young and healthy human model and a rough and ancient bit of natural environment?

As for the percentage scores in Curation, many members have noticed lately that they are erratic and low.  There is some information in the FAQ section about the Curation process.  We here in the Critique Forum are called 'Crew', but are given no insight into the process.  It's my understanding that the 'Expert Curators' are simply those who have accumulated a certain number of points by voting and commenting on photos.  You could become one yourself.  You can see who they are and check out their galleries and biographies, but that doesn't tell you how experienced or un-prejudiced they are at judging photographs.

I hope you'll get some real critiques here.  Many of the Senior Critics are more experienced than myself with this genre of photography.

Hi David welcome back scores and 30 day trials no it all down to how other judge images on this site. I will give you my take on your fine image. This is what i came up with. Great looking model and a fine textured location. I myself have never managed to get a subject / model to look amazing in this type of pose. i've tried and failed many time,

Saturation +18 / Nik Tools Tonal Contrast / Some dodge and burn work as you can see. The light top left I first thought it needs removing but then I thought no it helps tell the story. I have cloned out a sharp edge. Thank you for sharing...

Hello, David

Welcome to our forum. I think, too that this is a fine image. However, I can see that curation did not go well for it. That is a mysterious process for us too. Who knows what went through the minds of curators while looking at your image. I thank my friends for their contribution. shifts in light and shadows are always important. Dodging and burning can make dramatic change in images. I am the crazy sheep in the group. I do not know you much as you are new, but I usually go the creative way. When a photo does not pass curation I would advise to go radical if possible. In this case I would convert the image into B&W and add some mood to it. For example fog or smoke. I made an example. It is up to you to use this advice or not. I wish you good light....
