I took this photo in the corridor where the morning sun was coming in. I would like your opinion before posting it.
35mm f11 1/25sec ISO100
I used both Photoshop and Lightroom, mainly to adjust the geometry and lighting. Since the raw image was too contrasty, I lifted the dark areas significantly to make the stairs slightly visible so that you can see in what kind of place this man is.
Thank you in advance for your time.
Hi and welcome to critique I've had your image back into Photoshop so I could see up close what might work and what might not. but everthing I tried did not make it look any better. I think you have done all the hard work and come away with the best it's going to be. - You have a very unusual capture that works very well with fine detail and good quality give yourself a pat on the back well done.. Great image...

Many thanks Daniel for taking the time for my piece. I really appreciated it.
In fact, I had to adjust the brightness and darkness again and again to find the balance that I myself felt was most appropriate. I hope this effort to be rewarded by the curators finding this work interesting.
Thank you again!
Hello Reijiro
Welcome to the Critique forum and thank you for sharing this excellent photo. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to look at it 3 days ago, but it caught my attention when I came back online. I imagine that it will be published and hopefully awarded, but I wanted to have a look at it in monochrome even though I like the subtle tones of the original. I wondered about increasing the contrast, but again I preferred a soft approach. I have seen members having both colour and monochrome versions of a photo published, but of course it's entirely up to you to decide.
All the best, Elizabeth

Thanks Elizabeth for your feedback. I really appreciate it.
Yes, I also considered a monochrome version with more contrast, which might have a better impact.
While I was really wondering which approach to take, I did not come up with the idea of posting both versions!
Thank you again for taking the time for my work!
Best,
