The late elephant

At sunset, a group of elephants crossed the grassland and prepared to return to the woods where they roost at night. They had to cross a road, so we waited on the roadside early. When the little elephant crossed the road, the cattle egret in the narrator flew up Or parked next to him, its front legs are on the ground, dusty, especially beautiful in the backlight environment. Later, I only used Lightroom to adjust the color temperature and cropping.

Hello nature.zi,

Oh, I really like your photo! I can hardly understand why it didn't make it into the curation. But sometimes you just can't explain it.

If I were to suggest changes anyway, I have tried to interpret your photo in my own way. I used LR and NiK Viveza to do this. My aim was to lighten the elephant's eye a little and make the birds a little whiter.

The elephant is quite centred in your photo, perhaps you could crop the image so that the elephant's eye still has enough space where it should go. It is said that the viewer's gaze often goes from left to right. That's why I simply mirrored your picture. As I said, I wasn't there, I don't know the scene and I only worked according to my personal feeling. The image rotation in particular will certainly irritate you, as it was definitely different in situation. In the end, I gave the elephant a bit of room to move forwards and turned your 16:9 into a 3:2.

Hi,

i tried the automatic AI enhancer of Photodirector365 to give the beautiful photo more impact:

Thank you very much for your comments, the bird indeed needs to be brightened up, but I still want to keep the overall atmosphere relatively dark, so that the light and dust will be more textured.

Hello Nature.Zi,

Thank you for sending the photo to this forum.

A very interesting shot. The only thing missing is the emphasis on the earth's colors, which are very characteristic of this region of the world. I always associate this color with its specific smell.

In my proposal, I made masks for the light and dark parts of the photo in PSCC 2024. Thanks to this, I could influence the colors and shades of the photo in a very balanced way.

Of course, this is my proposal for your image.

As an aside, I would just like to remind you that on 1X we do not post or publish photos modified using AI.

Best regards
